welp after my exciting journey i am finally home. let me begin by telling you about my trip. so i got to the airport and to my surprise one of my bags was 54 pounds and the other was 55 pounds. i looked at the lady and said your scale must be wrong. she didn't like that and insisted i either pay 80 dollars PER bag or take stuff out until they weighed less than 50 pounds. well of course i am not paying so i start taking stuff out and putting it in my over sized purse like bag and a little wal-mart bag that had my goodies for the flight. well then one bag was exactly 50 and the other was still 1 pound over. i thought the old hag would let it slide but nope she said sorry still a little over so i took out 2 pairs of jeans and got it right on. ughh. well then i asked her where my gate was and i was on my way well i reached the gate that she said my flight was at and hmm WRONG gate. i should have checked my ticket. so i start running because the real gate i was flying out of was on the complete opposite side of the airport. then my stinkin wal-mart bag broke and my things went flying everywhere. so i stop to pick up the stuff throw it into my extremely heavy bag and ran the rest of the way. they were boarding when i arrived and i boarded. fewf. i had an excellent seat on the plane, exit row, i could stretch my legs straight out in front and not touch the seat in front of me hallelujah a little leg room. i also had my own tv. i had experienced this in first class but in coach it was a first and i loved it. tons of movies to choose from and i could play and pause :) woohoo. that was great. then i arrived in LA at 6am. my flight wasn't until 10 so i had some time to burn. because i had been up most the night and most of the past few nights i decided to take a little nap. i pushed two of the chairs together and laid down and i was out. when my alarm buzzed to tell me it was time to go board i sat up right into the metal arm rest. OUCH. i had a big goose egg and it was still red when i went to sleep last night. anyway so i get in line to board the plane and the lady at the desk asked me if i would be willing to give up my seat on the plane. there were two missionaries who had to fly together and only one of them had a seat because of an overbooking issue. if i gave up my seat i would fly out at 5 that night and would receive a 400 dollar voucher that i could use towards any delta ticket in the next year. so of course i took it. so i got out of line with my over stuffed bag and sat down. hmm. another 7 hours in the airport. i attempted to walk around a bit but my bag was just way too heavy. so i watched a movie. read. studied for my online classs. ate some lunch. and found my paradise. see the picture below.


this place had every kind of candy, ice cream, frozen yogurt. i was in heaven. i just snapped a picture and got a simple chocolate frozen yogurt. it was delicious. i was tempted to go back for more but decided against it. the i boarded my tinsy little plane and off i went. nearly 24 hours after my initial departure i landed in SLC. my mom & dad and mike & kajsia were there to pick me up. we went to dinner at california pizza kitchen and then headed home. i was beat but me mike and kajsia played rock band anyway it was pretty fun. today i slept past 11 i couldn't believe it but it felt so nice. then my mom and i went and saw get smart i confused it with smart people so it wasn't at all what i was expecting but it was still really good. then we went looking for some khakis for the family picture but had no luck i did get some cute dress shorts for student teaching for $17 i was pretty excited then we went to chilis it wasn't very good food but the desert was amazing. then we came home and put on definitely, maybe i fell asleep about 20 minutes into it i am a little screwed up with the time. anyway this is a really long detailed post . the end.
