.school started today and it was so much fun! the students are uhm... crazy but we had a lot of fun together. first let me show you my badge.

.note to self never do a closed mouth smile looks LAME. hehe. they don't allow retakes like the drivers license place. it is okay though i was just excited about the upper left corner :) and now on to my classroom aka the ghetto.

.the lovely P-10 is my spot. it is pretty rusty but don't worry i covered it all in school spirit colored paper. the ceiling leaks down on the filing cabinet so we put a plant on top to catch the water. hehe. anyway i am sure you are not as excited about it as i, but thought i would let ya see anyway.

.i am a teacher.

welp i officially started my o&p/student teaching/professional year. what ever you want to call it. i arrived in hawaii last night yay for some fresh air boo for no family. i came to my dorm and checked in but to my surprise when i went to put my luggage in there were two people already occupying the room. lame. so i went back and about an hour later i was situated in a new room with my new korean roommate sarah. i went to foodland and got ripped off on a few groceries and came back to my room and crashed. i woke up at 5am out of habit from waking at 9 everyday in utah and couldn't go back to sleep. so i chatted with my roommate who had not slept yet (crazy i know) and then got ready for my first day. i wore my stylin new dress melanie got me for my birthday along with the required closed toe shoes. booooo. and at 6:45 i left for the bus stop. i had checked the bus schedule last night and my bus was supposed to come at 7:10 so i thought i had plenty of time. that was before the bus took off right before my eyes. i was tempted to run but didnt. i was so mad. can't they do anything right here. apparently not. it did come around 7:20 so i made it on time. i went to my classroom and dang my coordinating teacher wasn't there. i was confused so i went back to the office to make sure it was still her room which it was. so i walked back and waited till nearly 8:00 when she finally arrived. again, lame. well then i realized hmm. no students what the heck. it was then my coordinating teacher notified me that the next 3 days will be teacher orientation and meetings. LAME. all day we sat in the same over crowded unairconditioned room listening to people argue about the restructuring. well hello if none of the students can read of course there is a problem. every time the company who is assisting the restructuring process would suggest something to improve the education the teachers would complain it was too much work. welp they'll be crying when they no longer have a job. i wont feel sorry for them i wanted to scream at them today but i just kept my mouth shut and doodled all over my notes. hehe. tomorrow we will set up our classroom should be fun. the prisoners even dropped off new desks and chairs to our room today. yes prisoners. i was quited frightened but they came and went in peace. aghh. so i guess thats it i am a teacher. blahh. i just want the students to come and play :) let the fun begin.

.at the beginning of july we had our first family picture since i was a toddler. it was quite the experience but i think the pictures turned out pretty cute.

.american idol live tour..

yay! last night me.mom.mike. kajsia went to the american idol concert. it was so much fun but WAY too loud. i guess thats what we get for going with the billion little girls going nuts over daivd archuleta. if he were 4 years older. i probably would have been screaming too.

I copied kajsias blog name.. hehe. saturday night we played rockband it was pretty fun/funny. i officially suck at it but it was still fun. rachel was our designated singer she was pretty good.. the game said she was most energetic. kajsia and mike and mom were our pro guitarists.. i just tried a little of everything. here are the pics from the evening...

this post is going to be pretty long with a lot of pictures so get ready. first thing. last week me, angie, jace, and charley went the the veterans memorial pool. it was a blast and the kids loved it. charley kept wanting to go on the big hydrotube slide but angie was so scared haha. here are a few pictures from our day at the pool.

for the fourth of july we went on our annual park city trip. this year we stayed at a new place the red stag lodge it was a lot of fun.
at our favorite mexican restaurant baja cantina we had a 1 1/2 hour wait during this spare time cincy was modeling her new shades.. i have no i dea what laken was doing in the background but he sure looks silly..hehe.
