happy fathers day DAD!
i am pretty sure i have the coolest dad ever. let me just make a list of reasons why:
he never let us go without
he is genuinely caring about EVERYONE
he is outgoing
he is fun
he would do anything for anyone
he is dedicated and hard working
he is a great example
he is a spiritual giant
he is super duper smart
he mixes his cereal every time
he loves burnt toast or just says that so no one else gets stuck with it ;)
he always makes time for family vacations
he cracks jokes left and right
there are plenty more but i am going to stop here. LOVE YOU DAD!

.to do list.

I have decided to make a to do list for the short time i will be in Utah.

• eat
• play with
• celebrate
• and don't forget The list is longer but I am done uploading pictures for a while. hehe.
  

.in class.

what did i do in class today. hmmm. first off, my blog was starting to look a little boring so i decided to give it a face lift. i love pink and brown so i am happy about the new look. i also finished all of todays homework in class. woohoo. i looked at things i really want online. chatted with kajsia for hours :) looked for some recipes, my latest obsession. thats about it. pretty exciting huh. oh wait i paid a little bit of attention and learned too :)

.i am so glad that i am done with this week. it was definitely one of the worst weeks ever. yes it was that bad. on monday james one of my classmates and friends took his own life. i have had countless classes with him because we were majoring in the same thing. haha thinking of it i wanna share something funny he did this semester on the first day of one of the classes our professor asked us all to share why we wanted to teach. james' answer was "World domination and the children are our future so i figured that was the best way". he was always so funny. i miss him. it was hard to go to class knowing that it would be filled with down emotions because we were reminded as we entered each class that he wasn't going to be coming. on top of that we are in the last 2 weeks of classes and hmm. remind me to never take 5 classes in spring again. big mistake. but anyway today was a good break. i am sure this week will be much much better. and good news i am almost done with the term. i can't wait to get home and go to movies with my mom and just play. it is a desperately needed break and i can't wait.

.bowling.

.i have very exciting news. i got over 100 in bowling. not only that i got 119 to beat everyone in the lane :) here is the proof.next thing. if i ever go bowling again i better have my own shoes. talk about nasty. let me show you what they gave me to use.what am i not special enough to get a whole lace. one that i can tie in a bow. guess not instead i get one that is not even long enough to go through all the holes and at the top ya gotta tie a knot cause too short for a bow. oh well they did the job. i made it over 100 and won the game.

.heaven.

.so we had the little party and i made the yummiest dessert. everyone get excited because i am pretty much pro at making it. i made it once on friday as a practice round it tasted good but it wasn't like wow. so i changed it up a bit and the results were fantastic! enjoy!
(Maresa was so excited to eat yummy food after eating Taiwanese food for three months)

.gratitude.

today during testimony meeting one of my friends/ward members from grenada went up and told about an experience she had. she started by saying how grateful she was to be here at BYUH. one of the first reasons she stated was she got to sleep in her own bed. then she started telling about her weekend. she went to the store and bought her first pack of popcorn. they have it in grenada but her family could never afford it. she said she laid in bed and ate all three bags of microwave popcorn from the box. hearing this i realized how much that i have. let me list a few:
1. my amazing family & friends
2. education
3. a safe home
4. always having what i need
..... the list goes on and on but i don't want my blog to become all spiritual :p

oh i guess i am thankful to be surrounded by asians.. truly.
